Heart of Hilliard Getaway
Located just steps away from the heart of downtown Hilliard, The Westwood Collective’s new project brings one of the first Airbnb’s to the neighborhood! With the needs of families who might be in town for weddings, sporting events, or school functions in mind, this rental is meant to be a stylish and a comfortable haven for guests! Trove had such a great time partnering with the team at Westwood Collective to furnish the Airbnb and hope that guests of all ages can relax and have fun here!
When you walk in the front door, you are greeted with a neutral living space. The Braxton sectional features a soft gray performance fabric, perfect for worry free hangouts! The Lenny coffee table, with a beveled brass edge brings just the right amount of industrial metal into the space. For extra seating, the Atticus accent chairs are a trendy mixture of top grain leather and a brass metal frame.
The kitchen and dining space is ready for a family breakfast or a friendly game night at the Venice bluestone dining table. The brass Woodrow counter stools at the breakfast bar let guests sit comfortably under the Cassidy pendants for a quick bite or sip of coffee before exploring all that Hilliard has to offer. We love seeing how the mix of earthy materials and textures in this space along with all of the natural light make it open and welcoming!
The Dean dining chairs surrounding the dining table are covered in a brown vegan leather which makes them easy to wipe down and looking their best. Mixing old and new pieces help to keep the character of the newly remodeled home, which is evident in how beautifully the vintage Riskell shelf melds with the other pieces in this dining room.
Walk upstairs to find a light and bright walkway into the guest bedrooms. The fun and funky Renee semi flush mount incorporates the black accents of the painted doors and newly finished floors.
The first guest bedroom has space for two Cato twin beds that, although simple, bring angles of geometry to the space along with the patterned carpeting. This room proves that you only need a couple of eye-catching pieces to make a bedroom feel complete and cozy!
Hidden storage is a must in a rental property and it's easy to do in style with the Casper dresser and Holly nightstand. We love that there is an additional shelving space on each that allows for fun display of accessories while hiding away the necessites at the same time.
Moving into the final bedroom, the Truet king bed steals the show with its hand-wrought iron frame. The Jena semi flush mount, found in each of the three bedrooms, adds industrial intrigue on the ceiling. We styled two Davie end tables with the bed to add natural wood and warmth to the space!
We are so excited to share this project with you, and hope you’ll check out this Airbnb if you are staying in or near the Hilliard, OH area for a short getaway!
