Chapter 2: P20

Home for the Holidays: Setting a Cozy Winter Table

As you welcome family and friends into your home this holiday season, impress them with more than just your hospitality. It’s the season of hosting, which means your dining table should be ready to be the star of the show! It can be a little daunting looking at your empty table and not knowing where to begin, but we're here to make it simple and fun!

We're channeling every child's wish of a white Christmas with this dreamy, clean table setting. We started in the center of the table with varying heights of vintage wooden candle sticks and weaved in sprigs of winter greenery. This frosted pine feels like last night's snowfall is gracing your table.

Lighting can completely change the ambiance during holiday meals. Nothing can quite replicate the warm, flickering glow that real candles bring to a table and classic white pillars like the ones we chose here compliment any table.

Add a personal touch by adorning each setting with a hand-written place card. Keep it simple and sweet using cardstock tags and greenery from your backyard for a thoughtful, effortless touch.

If glittery accents and faux fur are speaking your name this holiday season, try adding a little whimsy with woven stockings and Santa Claus ornaments for each guest.

Instead of traditional name tags, these fun hand-painted Santas are a nice takeaway for your guests to enjoy on their tree. They add just the right amount of color to the white plates and natural chargers lining the table.

Inspired by all things found in nature, this woodsy Christmas setting is homey and comforting. Linen napkins exude casual, rustic elegance and real pine cones fill the entire space with that Christmasy evergreen smell we all love during the holidays.

Give your dining chairs a little extra love with the finishing touch of a mini wreath. Make your own with a few fresh pine sprays or snag some of our favorites at either Trove location this holiday.

Whether you need some last minute inspiration to pull together a small dinner party or are prepping to host the entire crew, stop into Trove to set the scene for your holiday table!

Happy Holidays from TROVE
